Performance-related payments can be split into two areas; piecework and merit pay. Piece work or piecework describes types of employment in which a worker is paid a fixed "piece rate" for each unit produced or action performed. Merit pay however, provides bonuses for workers who perform their jobs better, according to measurable criteria.
Generally speaking, Performance-related pay is money paid to someone relating to how well he or she works at the workplace and not to how long he or she is present at the workplace.
This type of solution will be, as a rule, customised to meet customer requirements.
