PROsms - Messaging via SMS

Mobile telephones for production managers and the like have become standard in quite a lot of production companies. We have taken advantage of this and produced a module PROsms which is integrated with PROview and parameterised. This module automatically generates an sms as soon as a defined problem, such as machine stoppage occurs.

Example:
In the ADC/MDC system PROefficient is a machine called "Rose". This machine enters a stoppage and the machine operator books "Waiting for elect". This stoppage has been defined in the system as an sms report and PROsms sends therefore after a selected time has run out an sms to the electrician informing him of the stoppage on "Rose".
